COVID-19 Air Show Safety Enhancements

KC Air Show Charities has been, and will continue to be, committed to the safety and wellbeing of guests, vendors and performers. Safety is a core principle of KC Air Show Charities and the 2020 KC Air Show team. COVID-19 presents a new safety challenge to be managed. At this time, the 2020 KC Air Show is on track and expected to be bigger and better than last year’s show that was recognized as the best Air Show of 2019 by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels.

The KC Air Show team is working with the state of Kansas, Johnson County and local municipalities of Gardner and Olathe to understand the latest guidance on providing a safe environment in which to enjoy the 2020 KC Air Show. Additionally, the Department of Defense (DOD) is defining its own precautions that KC Air Show would implement. The KC Air Show team will continue to provide updates as we learn more about how COVID-19 precautions will be implemented. Stay safe and we’ll plan to see you Labor Day Weekend, Sept. 5-6, 2020!

Although we are confident that we will be able to safely produce this year’s air show, should the 2020 air show not occur due to reasons related to COVID19, tickets & sponsorships will be honored for the 2021 air show scheduled for July 3-4, 2021 at New Century AirCenter featuring the U.S. Blue Angels.
